Bahamut is known as the Platinum Dragon and is considered to be the patron saint of all dragon kind. He is married to [[Tiamat]], even though she is fully ensconced with control and darkness. As such, the two are enemies in their philosophies. Bahamut ascended long ago to the [[Acemire|Realm of the Heavens]], while Tiamat descended into the [[Oonlati|Depths of Hell]].

Some legends state that Bahamut was the first dragon, while others argue that it was Tiamat. Both followers believe the same ideas, though there are a few that believe that neither are the firstborn dragon. Their beliefs state that [[Onth'ralith]] is the father of all dragons, but for most this is but a simple theory. Only a few ancient texts even mention Onth'ralith, and even so, they do so in passing.
